A playful bittersweet memoir, ala “Cinema Paradiso.”

Five-year-old William lives with his lovesick, oddball uncle Gustavo, who, though desperately infatuated with lovely Jazmin, is too shy and insecure to approach her. Knowing that Jazmin longs to become a singer, William convinces Uncle Gustavo, who has no musical talent whatsoever, to form a band and hire her as the songstress. It seems like the perfect plan until egos clash, the band breaks up, and Jazmin decides to fulfill her dream somewhere else.
