Arrogant advertising executive Nick Marshall (Mel Gibson) thinks he has women figured out and under his thumb. When a freak accident enables Nick to hear the passing thoughts of every woman, his smug world gets turned upside down. His psychiatrist (Bette Midler) suggests using his new talent to his advantage.
