Advertising tycoon Bhavani Shankar (Utpal Dutt) hates anyone having fun, values hard work, and, oh yeah, digs moustaches. To get a job at Shankar's company, Ram Prasad (Amol Palekar) sports the requisite moustache and wet-blanket demeanor. But when the boss catches Ram -- gasp -- having fun, Ram must invent an unshaven twin brother, Laxman, given to loud clothes and Western habits, to avoid getting fired. Moustache-related hilarity ensues, especially after Shankar's daughter fancies the laid-back Laxman, much to alter ego Ram's alarm.

Golmaal (Hindi: गोल्माल, Urdu: گول مال) is 2006 Bollywood comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty. The film stars Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, Tusshar Kapoor and Rimi Sen in lead roles. The music was conducted by Vishal-Shekhar and the lyrics by Sameer. Original background music was composed by Sanjoy Chowdhury, son of late Sri Salil Chowdhury. This film was a remake of malayalam movie Kakkakuyil. The film performed on average at the box-office and received generally positive reviews from the critics.
