A mechanic and gas station attendant for twenty years in Patagonia, Juan “Coco” Villegas suddenly finds himself jobless. With no prospects in sight, he at first tries to sell his handmade knives, but no one’s buying. Then, after fixing the fan belt on a stranger’s car, he receives an odd form of payment, a beautiful pedigreed Argentine watchdog named BomBon. He’s not quite sure what to do with this striking canine, but when they hit the road together, “Coco’s” life takes a wildly surprising turn.
