Quentin Tarantino collaborator Roger Avary makes his filmmaking debut with this intense heist thriller. Zed (Eric Stoltz) is an American ex-con who comes to Paris to assist a childhood friend with a bank robbery. He spends his first night in Paris with a gorgeous and kind prostitute named Zoe (Julie Delpy). The day of the heist comes sooner than Zed expects, and the robbery turns very nasty very quickly, with Zoe trapped on the firing line.
