Ek Ghar

"A house does not mean just four walls. It is a place where one gets comfort and his soul gets peace. You can't get all those so easily." So warns the potential landlord of Rajshekar (Naseeruddin Shah), a man in search of a home. After a bit of scheming by his aunt (Rohini Hattangadi), Rajshekar and his wife Gita (Deepti Naval) move into a house and inherit the large, creaking bed of the previous owners - and therefore their unfulfilled wishes, Gita worries - and some mysterious neighbors in the shed next door. As the nighttime noises from the shed prevent their sleep, Rajshekar falters both at his job and with the people in his life. But when quiet finally returns, he and Gita are left with a silence that can't quite hold the problems that have crept in between them.
