Blood Brothers (Subtitled)

Told in a combination of English and Gujarati (with loving reverse translation work from Swap's Grandmother), the tale inspires discussions of the politics of immigration (see the discussion, "A Scholarly Perspective on Blood Brothers"), and illustrates the opportunity costs of pursuing the American Dream. The younger brother does find the material wealth and associated luxuries that he sought -but at the expense of health, well-being and ability to care for his ailing father.
