On the run from the law, Anne (Julie Carlsen) arrives in a cozy, provincial town, alongside her son Thomas (Frederik Paarup). They find cheap lodging from a local junk dealer Lars (Troels Lyby), and Thomas falls hard for the lovely Helene (Sara Olsen) and befriends the eccentric musician Jonas (Rumle Sieling Langdal). Altogether, they form a warm, nurturing community, something alien to mother and son who must decide whether to continue their fugitive lifestyle together, or if the time has come to part ways.
