"[An] excellently shot and alarming document." -- Eye for Film
A politically charged, visually poetic documentary about war-torn Uganda that offers a stirring portrait of individuals, striving in the most difficult times for justice and human rights. While Uganda's government, embroiled in a bloody conflict with rebels, denies the suffering of the war's victims -- either rounded up inside hellish camps, or left to fend for themselves -- the refugees themselves tell a radically different story of survival and of anger, as many risk their lives to get their voices heard, their stories told.
