Director Hassan Legzouli’s quietly beautiful film about the meaning of home, family, and love.
French-born and raised Nordine is taking his father’s body back to Morocco, to be buried in his homeland high in the Atlas Mountains, a home Nordine has known only vaguely through family stories. During this revealing journey of discovery, he meets Nora, who shows Nordine what it means to be Moroccan. There is little left of the father’s village, but it becomes a place both profound and rich for Nordine. Though he has never set foot on this land, he knows he has, at long last, come home.
