During a visit to her husband’s ancestral home in India, American-born Nandini (Karisma Kapoor) is shocked to learn that her husband’s family is embroiled in a tribal conflict. Worse still, the man’s uncle (Nana Petakar) seeks to keep Nandini’s son in India against her wishes. Nandini escapes the village under cover with her son, and begins a long and dangerous trek back to safety. Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai shine in special appearances in this tense Bollywood drama.

Shakti: The Power (Devanagari: शक्ती, Nastaliq: شکتی, translation: "Energy" or "Power") is a 2002 Bollywood movie. The film stars Karisma Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Sanjay Kapoor in the main roles. Shahrukh Khan has an extended appearance, while Aishwarya Rai has special appearance in an Item number. The movie is a remake of a Telugu film "Antahpuram" ([1],[2],[3] ).
