Reality is, it's a miracle that an independent film gets made and distributed out into the world.

Let's press pause for a moment and consider some of the fundamental elements/processes:

[conception, writing/documenting, financing, development, alignment of teams, agreements/disagreements, battle of egos, drafts/rewrites, shoots (tempering of gear, taping subject to weather, capturing moments), how to market - what's the 'hook', financing drops out in mid-stage, overages, key people step in, some step out, distribution(!), public relations...]

Months of this can easily turn into years (and let's hope that the individual/individuals that were originally inspired to turn the idea into a reality are actually happy...at the very least...satisfied with the end result.)

And when it comes to foreign films (brace yourself) their share of box office revenue in the U.S. is said to be less than 1%.

Well, despite all these challenges, I can tell you that nothing gives me greater pleasure than impacting the world through film, and I'm here to ensure that stories make their way to entertain, and most importantly...inspire you.
