Hi! My name is Sandra. I live and work in New York City within the visual arts and culture business. I am also a writer and critic (a good fellow one, I don't believe in destructive criticism). I have passion for good and articulated stories, from here my interest in books and movies. I like to travel as well. Once in Thailand, I went to see a movie from a Chinese director. It was in Chinese with thai subtitles. I don't speak any of these languages, so what I was seeing was my only way to understand what was happening, thanks God it was a very basic action-story with a lot of murder and persecution with its heroine and hero and villains. Everything in the film was accordingly with I would expect until, after the villain killed everyone in the movie, killed himself! blowing up everyone from the movie. That is what I call a surprisive end. Recently, I saw Scorsese's film "The Departed" which has a similar end but less bizarre than the Chinese movie.
