About Me:
My affiliation with cinema began as an avid viewer. I then became connected to 'showbiz' through my affiliation with a south-asian based entertainment show called ShowBiz India. Currently I'm on the Movie Review segment as a critic. In addition to being a 'critic' (and I like to refer to myself as a viewer's critic - the people's voice), I emcee, host events. I've also begun moderating panel discussions through SAAFA (South Asian-American Arts and Film Association) as the LA Chapter lead.
So where are these filmi connections taking me?
Well, I'm not an aspiring actress. But I do aspire to remain associated with entertainment/cinema. It's a world that I connect to because I'm passionate about it. I'm far more intrigued by what goes on behind the scenes than anything else. I'm hoping I'll meet some right people who'll help determine what way I can channel my energy. Production, screen-writing, Directing? - all facets I'm drawn to. So let's see what opportunities ignite!
