Favorite Movies:
I love many of the classics that I grew up with like The Wizard of Oz and Summertime. Zoot Suit was a monumental film that my husband and I loved in the 70's. I love many of the mainstream American films, but am also loving to see the Mexican and other latin american directors express their vision with great films like Amores Perros, Babel, and Maria Full of Grace.

I am a retired grandmother who loves films! My daughter, son and son-in-law are in the film industry and I have learned so much from them! Being a Mexicana, born and raised here in Los Angeles has given me a unique perspective which I am very passionate about. I was a bilingual educator for 30 years and would love to see more films that reflect the lives of my latino students and their experiences!
