This movie changed the way I looked at film. It is so simple and elegant in how it's show. How violent it is without a lot of bells and whistles. Just viscerally powerful in how the story is told and how the mundane and the extraordinary come together in this brilliant, bloody heist film where you love and identify with even the most despicable character. There is no bad guy no matter how bad they are. Amoral and totally groundbreaking. It resolutely proves that a filmmaker with vision, talent and cahones can make a film that changes the landscape of cinema without a ton of cash.

I am so glad Jaman got this so I can finally check it out. I don't put a lot of stock in gossip sites and celebrity hoohaw - but I am excited to see the film that basically made her a star. About halfway in (took a break for some coffee :) and so far - I get it. This film has me completely laughing out loud - for realz.
