Remember Memento -- 11:11 literally runs in reverse. It plays like a sexy foreign film. We shot in 35mm with Panavision effects cameras containing variable speed motors. We mounted them with reversing mags (inside of which the film reel is carefully threaded and placed) and actually ran the film through the camera from the bottom up. We got the cameras donated for the shoot because a famous friend made a call to benefit the production.

Think of Mac Daddy Otto of 11:11 (played hilariously and perfectly by actor Doug Bennett) as the W of music producers: slick, charming, a bit of a sociopath and totally self-satisfied.

The icon above is the lead character in 11:11, Anna Omomo.. She's Otto's lover in the film. If you like the girl in the photo, Anna, as portrayed by the very talented musician Mataji Booker, watch 11:11. You get to see a lot more of her. She looks a bit like an African American Bridget Bardo when she's wearing that blonde wig. You can see a trailer for the film and clips at www.backwardsmovie.com, if you need more coaxing. 11:11 will soon be available as a loop and which means you'll be able to watch it in both directions. Yes, it's a bi-directional film. The loop is an easter egg under special features which will also contain director commentary with unseen footage from the set and even more images of Anna rolling around with her ever-ready fall back girlfriend Pip. You will also have the option of only watching the film forwards.
