He brought me closer to the reality of this war than any other journalist has so far. I think his courage and bravery are testament to his caring of mankind and are demonstrated by his camera's capturing the souls of the Iraqi people.
Watching and listening to the suffering endured by Iraqi's on a daily basis captured through Mike' camera made me weep. I saw Iraq outside of the imagery provided by the AP and farmed out to my daily tabloid, which is a static moment. Mike brought me into the real world of the non-static world of Iraq.
