Amitabh, Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra, Raj Kapoor, Om Puri, Naserudeen Shah, Amir Khan, Om Prakash...and I guess I have to admit I've come to appreciate SRK more and more.
Namaskar!
My name's Eddie and I'm a natural foods chef who just can't get enough Bollywood, especially the old stuff. I've got particular weaknesses for camp, mujras, Amitabh kicking ass, R.D Burman, siblings separated at birth...
Sometimes there's a fine fine line between smirking at the camp and corniness and then breaking into sobs when mother and son are reunited or Ramu the elephant gets shot while saving Rajesh Khanna's life.
My first dip into Bollywood came a few years back when I rented Lagaan. I fell in love with its exuberance, beauty, and unapologetic emotional muscle. 150 or so Hindi movies later (and an 8 month adventure in India) I'm still hooked.
So I'm visiting India now until May and might not be doing any Jamaning to speak of from here, but we'll see. Tally ho!

Fantastic reviews! Glad to have you adding lots of fun to Jaman.
