Two thirteen year old boys play along the railway line in Kayelitsha, a township close to Capetown. A dead man is tossed from a passing train, clutching a briefcase containing a gun and a video camera. Sipho takes the gun, Madiba takes the camera. As Sipho embarks on a new life in Cape Town's underworld, Madiba sees, through the lens of the camera, his everyday surroundings taking on a strange new beauty. This rich and engaging film offers an insightful look into the challenges facing post-apartheid South Africa, while spinning an enchanting tale of a sensitive soul finding his true self.
