“Chilling and persuasive.”—The Nation
War Made Easy exposes the deception and media complicity employed by presidential administrations (of both parties) to sell one war after another to the American public. Five decades of archival footage is deployed to illustrate the American news media's uncritical dissemination of the pro-war agendas of successive Presidents. Particular attention is paid to the parallels between the selling of the wars in Vietnam and today's ongoing conflict in Iraq.
