One twist follows another in this labyrinthine indie that recalls classic film noir. A young drifter (Norman Reedus) is caught running a con game in a carnival. The carnival’s shady owner (Armand Assante) hires the young man on, with ulterior motives. The drifter is soon caught in an escalating murder plot involving the carnival owner’s snake-charming wife (Dagmara Dominczyk), and no one is sure who’s conning whom.
