Veteran director Richard Donner (Superman) keeps the action coming – logic be damned! – in this improbable but exciting time-hopping adventure. Based on a novel by Michael Crichton (Jurassic Park), the story concerns a group of American archaeology students on a dig in a colorful French valley. Their quest turns up some fascinating anomalies, including a room with some surprising secrets and a machine that sends them into the heart of a 14th century feudal war between France and England.

Timeline is a 2003 science fiction/fantasy film, directed by Richard Donner. It stars Paul Walker, Frances O'Connor, Billy Connolly, David Thewlis, Gerard Butler and Anna Friel. It is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. Jerry Goldsmith was originally set to score, which would have been Goldsmith's last score before his death in 2004, but was replaced by Brian Tyler, after being rejected by Donner.
