"It's Time", is an Avant-garde film of a very simple story. Martha is just a regular, down to earth, blue-collar kind of gal. She has a very important secret; her dream, to tell her husband Monty. As Martha goes through her day, she plans how she is going to share her secret with Monty. As she builds up the courage, she romanitcally fantasizes about how it will happen and how Monty will respond.
The various styles of filmmaking used by Brad Sergi within just nine minutes, takes you on an exciting and visually dynamic and rhythmic trip. At first, "It's Time" establishes itself as a dark, foreboding film. The next scene has almost a Woody Allen feel to it. Then, "It's Time", sweeps into a 1940's romantic style and finishes up by making a harsh right turn into a gritty, realistic style.
