Terrorists

The small town of Junction is the proud home of a roadside attraction dubbed “The World’s Largest Stool.” John Stevens, a doctoral candidate in such matters, travels to Junction, anxious to authenticate the stool as a genuine work of art. Unbeknownst to John, vandals have defaced the statue of Junction’s founder and police chief Curtis Gorfurter concludes it could only be the work of—gasp—Terrorists! When John wants to have his photos of the stool enlarged, he drops them off at the local developer with the note: “Blow up.” Putting 2+2 together and coming up with 9/11, Chief Gorfurter sounds the alarm and creates his very own terror color alert, elevating it immediately from Brick to Tangerine. Everyone falls under suspicion and not a single soul is safe.
