"Great writing...this is exactly the type of story that works so well as independent film..." -- efilmcritic.com
Critically acclaimed playwright Lawrence Levine directs a gripping adaptation of his hit off-Broadway play.
Returning from a late night party, Ben and Maya are at odds. Ben’s ready for bed, but Maya’s still a little drunk and restless. There’s a knock at the door and when Ben opens it, he’s wrestled to the ground by a gas-masked intruder who turns out to be James, Ben’s long-lost, former best friend. Though he hasn’t seen Ben in years, James acts as if they’re still best buddies and plants himself in the apartment for the night. But this is no ordinary “let’s catch up” chit chat get together. James cranks up the music, does some drugs, and revels in revealing more than a few old and painful truths the couple would rather not remember. But once the lid flies off of long-repressed hurts and resentments, the gloves are dropped and it’s all out war in new and treacherous Territory.
