Ajay Devgan is Raj Dixit, a solemn man too busy working and caring for his younger, disabled brother Rahul to pursue romance. This changes when the beautiful Madhuri (Sonali Bendre) enters his life. Torn between love and his familial duty, Raj opts to put his brother into an institution, which sets off a chain of events that threaten to overwhelm him.
