Gordon Scott defined the character of Tarzan for 1950s audiences, and he’s exciting to watch here, fighting three different human foes. Tarzan makes quick work of a pair of poachers, but his third and final enemy is the most dangerous of all: a hunter whose prey is Tarzan himself! Though it amusingly reflects Hollywood’s 1950s values (Tarzan and Jane live in adjoining treehouses), its pro-environmental message is timeless. And the jungle action is as thrilling as ever!
