Studio One is a long-running American dramatic radio-television anthology series, created in 1947 by the 26-year-old Canadian director Fletcher Markle, who came to CBS from the CBC.

For many years this program was thought to be lost. The Museum of Television and Radio (now the Paley Center) only had the first 30 minutes of the hour long program on a kine-scope provided by CBS-the only version CBS had. After nearly 30 years of searching a copy of the complete program was thought to be non-existent until 2003 when filmmaker Joseph Consentino, who was working on a documentary about noted defense attorney Robert Leibowitz (Leibowitz reported on the Lindbergh kidnapping for the NY radio station WHN) found a copy of the show in the archives maintained by...
