Before its smash success as a feature film, Twelve Angry Men was an acclaimed, award-winning original story for the anthology TV drama Studio One. Robert Cummings won an Emmy for his performance as Juror #8, a lone skeptical voice in a jury bent on sentencing a man accused of murder (Henry Fonda would play the role in the feature two years later).
The flagship program of America’s Golden Age of Television, Studio One presented a wide range of memorable dramas, created by some of America’s finest creative artists.
