Set in New Orleans, this original drama by Gore Vidal unfolds amid the decaying household of an aristocratic family. Matriarch Theresa Durand struggles to preserve the values instilled in her since childhood, but the encroaching forces of modernization (as well as a construction engineer with designs on her daughter) threaten both Theresa's residence and her psyche.
