Brandon King (Ryan Phillippe) returns from the war in Iraq to his family in Texas. While there's a sense of relief, Brandon's adjustment to civilian life has its challenges. Then the military invokes it's Stop-loss rule which can recall soldiers to duty soon after they are finished with their tour. Brandon has served well for his country, will he be able to return to Iraq without consequences in his relationships and himself?
