Every rock star claims that music will save your soul, but what if you're hiding behind it? Charlotte (Laura Sanders) can't separate her emotions from other people's music in her head. She withdraws from the world, only expressing herself in lines from pop music. The main reason for her withdrawal is a failed relationship in the past which she still can't get over, and refuses to deal with. Her present idea of salvation lies with falling in love with her best friend, Ian (Daniel Frysh). Even under the influence of countless drugs, she still finds herself unable to separate the real world from the music video that is her imagination. SOMETIMES tells the story of the day when her self-imposed mental isolation finally fails to protect her.
