A Silent Love

The path to marital bliss is anything but rosy in this cross-cultural romantic comedy about the courtly Norman Green (Noel Burton), a professor who arranges to marry Gladys (Vanessa Bauche), the Mexican bride he finds through an Internet matrimonial service. When Norman brings Gladys from Mexico to Montreal along with her mother Fernanda (Susana Salazar) -- to the utter puzzlement of his own friends -- he finds there are bigger problems than culture shock where the human heart is involved. The reserved Norman is no match for the strong-willed and free-spirited Gladys, but his problems get really complicated when he finds himself and the lovely Fernanda drawn closer to each other.
