Roger (Napoleon Dynamite’s Jon Heder) is a put-upon loser, caught in a dull job and secretly smitten with his neighbor. Seeking to boost his self-confidence, Roger enrolls in a course taught by the eccentric Doctor P. (Billy Bob Thornton). Roger’s growing success in the course, however, sets off a powerful competitive streak in his mentor, who soon engages Roger in pitched battle for the woman he loves. An American remake of the 60s British comedy classic, from director Todd Phillips (Old School, The Hangover).
