In a post-apocalyptic police state, Running Man is the hottest game show in town. Featuring criminals forced to compete against one another to the death, it feeds the audience’s lust for bloodsport. Ben Richards (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a cop framed for the massacre of hundreds and is the next contestant. As he fights for his life, host Damon Killian (Richard Dawson) plans his rise to stardom in the ratings in a plot to undermine Richards. Based on the novel by Stephen King (originally written under the pseudonym Richard Bachman).
