Bob Hope and Bing Crosby are back in the sixth entry in the hilarious, long-running comedy series. They play travelling vaudevillians who arrive at the island of Bali, where they quickly become smitten with a beautiful princess (Dorothy Lamour). There’s a story involving precious jewels and shady thieves, but the real attraction here is the well-honed verbal comedy of Hope and Crosby, ably supported by their longtime Road cohort Lamour.
