After the collapse of the Sung dynasty, a Yuan marshall named Pai Yen imprisons the former Sung Prime Minister, Wen Tien-hsiang. A number of loyal Sung knights hatch a plot to gain his release, but soon realize that they have rescued, not the prime minister, but a decoy instead. Now the knights must redouble their efforts to rescue Sung Prime Minister Wen.
