Portrait of a Hitman

Rod Steiger and Jack Palance star in a suspenseful and twisted love triangle involving a talented fine artist hired to kill his friend and rival, not aware that they are in love with the same woman. Jack Palance is Jim Buck, an artist who pays the bills by working as a hired assassin. His latest commission is to knock off a brain surgeon, Dr. Bob Michaels (Bo Svenson). The problem is that Bo is Jim's friend. Even bigger problems arise when both men fight for the affections of one woman, the beautiful and mysterious Cathey (Ann Turkel).
