Pootie Tang (Lance Crouther) is America's number one superhero, and he's here to defend us against the evils of LecterCorp, an evil company determined to peddle its addictive products to everyone in the world. Dick Lecter, LecterCorp's evil CEO, will stop at nothing to be the top provider of tobacco, junk food, and alcohol... and he'll do everything in his power to steal the magic belt that gives Pootie Tang his incredible power. Pootie Tang is an American comedy film, directed by Louis C.K. and released in 2001. The film was adapted from a comedy sketch which first appeared on The Chris Rock Show. The character Pootie Tang is a satire of the stereotyped characters who appeared in old blaxploitation films. His speech, which vaguely resembles pidgin, is mostly unintelligible to the audience, but the other characters in the film have no problem understanding him.
