Piranha

While investigating the disappearance of two teens, reclusive writer Paul Grogan (William Katt) and P.I. Maggie McNamara ("Baywatch’s" Alexandra Paul) chance on a government facility where -- gasp! -- the army has engineered a breed of super-piranhas with a keen hunger for man-flesh! The local residents quickly become fish-bait after the piranhas escape into the nearby lake, and a greedy developer (Monte Markham) tries to thwart Paul and Maggie's attempts to warn authorities and civilians about the water-borne chomping machines. Horror, panic, and, yes, much devouring ensues. Bon appétit!
