A Southern soldier in the American Civil War is sent to reconnoiter the enemy positions. Suddenly trapped by Northern cannon fire, the soldier is soon facing death down the barrel of his own rifle. Working from a story by Ambrose Bierce, filmmaker Tony Scott brings to this early student film the visual panache and intense storytelling that would later inform his cult favorites The Hunger and True Romance.

Revenge is a 1990 crime-drama-thriller directed by Tony Scott, starring Kevin Costner, Anthony Quinn, Madeleine Stowe, Miguel Ferrer and Sally Kirkland. Some scenes were filmed in Mexico. The movie is a production of New World Pictures and Rastar Films and released by Columbia Pictures. Revenge also features one of John Leguizamo's earliest movie roles.
