Bumbling, dorky chemistry professor, Julius Kelp (Jerry Lewis) needs a leg-up in the romance department. He’s head over heels for coed Stella Purdy (Stella Stevens), but she won’t give him the time of day. Kelp concocts a crazy potion that changes him into Buddy Love, chick magnet. The problem is that the potion wears off at the worst possible times!
