Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) and the other members of Police Squad! return, and this time they’re out to protect the environment. When Drebin arrives in Washington to receive an award (for killing his 1000th drug dealer), he uncovers a scheme to kidnap a scientist (Richard Griffiths). Created in the early 1990s, this film skewered the oil conglomerates scheming during the presidency of George Bush, Sr. The film’s satire is just as timely today, and the jokes are just as hilarious.
