Harvey Keitel stars as Tony Romano, the intensely devoted patriarch of a Jewish-Italian family who battles with a disturbed and conniving woman, Kelly (Rachel Blanchard), for the heart and soul of his son, Jeff (Brad Rowe), a struggling writer. When Tony learns that Kelly is pregnant with Jeff's child, and that she's emotionally manipulating the boy, Tony ratchets up his efforts to pry her claws from his son in a desperate hope to save him from a disastrous future with an unbalanced woman.
