Brandon Ma (Brandon Lee), is a regular Hong Kong working class guy whose world collapses when his so-called best friend Michael (Michael Wong), frames him for the murder of a crooked undercover cop. While Brandon rots away in jail, Michael ascends to the top of a crime syndicate and lecherously pursues Brandon's girlfriend May (Regina Kent) who, out of fear and desperation, flees to Brazil with her and Brandon's baby. After eight long years, Brandon is released and when he discovers the truth about who framed him and why, he sets out to get even. Big time.

Legacy of Rage (龍在江湖, pinyin: Long Zai jiang hu) is a 1986 Hong Kong action movie starring Brandon Lee in his film debut, Michael Wong, Regina Kent, Chung Lam and a cameo appearance by Bolo Yeung who had appeared in Lee's father Bruce Lee's last film Enter the Dragon. It was directed by Ronny Yu and made in Cantonese. It was later dubbed in English and other languages when released internationally.
