Le Vent De La Nuit

Catherine Deneuve plays the beautiful Hélène, an adulterous upper-class housewife who adores her art-student lover Paul (Xavier Beauvois), but wonders if it's not her money that Paul's really after. Award-winning director Philippe Garrel alternates between a personal drama depicting Hélène's slow unraveling, and a road movie as Paul journeys across European motorways alongside Serge (Daniel Duval), an artist who bears emotional scars from his days as a '60s left-wing radical, and who just may pave the way for Paul's future success.
