An all-star cast including Richard Dreyfuss, Chazz Palminteri, Cybill Shepherd and Timothy Hutton make up this erotically charged thriller about a journalist who brings his mob stories to the big screen. Martin Dellios (Timothy Hutton) is a newspaper columnist who writes and sells the gritty stories of mobsters and other shady criminals. Mob boss Ricky Benzone (Chazz Palminteri) warns him to start thinking about the consequences of his printed words, so when Martin’s writing is discovered by a Hollywood studio he has second thoughts. The studio wants the one story he wished he never published about a stripper (Michelle Burke) with whom he had an affair. Martin is torn between his past and the opportunity of a lifetime as he tries to discern if real life and fiction can ever possibly go together.
