The Last Best Sunday

A teenage girl, enjoying a rare free weekend away from her religious parents, is suddenly confronted by a young, badly beaten Mexican man looking for a place to hide. After being set upon by local thugs, the man fought back and now the two attackers are dead and he's being chased by the local redneck sheriff. Once their initial fears subside, the two begin to reveal their complicated emotional lives to each other and eventually discover they have much more in common than they thought.
