Killing Emmett Young

Working the mean streets of Philadelphia, Detective Emmett Young (Scott Wolf), in hot pursuit of a psychotic killer, discovers he's terminally ill. A grizzled ex-cop (Gabriel Byrne) convinces Young that hiring a hit man (Tim Roth) to end his life rather than suffer through his illness is the way to go. No sooner has Young complied that new twists call into question everything he once believed, and which bring him steps closer, depending on how fast he acts, either to putting an end to a madman's murder spree or falling victim to the hit he ordered on himself.
