Notorious cult filmmaker Ed Wood's first attempt at mainstream recognition was this low-budget crime thriller. Jail Bait is the story of a plastic surgeon's ne'er-do-well son whose involvement with a petty mobster turns lethal. Though more intricately plotted than Wood's usual fare, the film still contains many of his bizarre, deadpan moments. Along with Steve "Hercules" Reeves, Wood's regular players Dolores Fuller, Timothy Farrell, Mona McKinnon, and Lyle Talbot star; the lingerie is by Chic & Pandora.

Jail Bait is a 1954 American crime film directed by Ed D. Wood, Jr. with a screenplay by Wood and Alex Gordon. The film stars Timothy Farrell as a gangster who undergoes plastic surgery to elude the police. Famed bodybuilder Steve Reeves made his first screen appearance in the film.
